At the present time our broadcast hours are: Monday - Friday: 11:50 a.m. - 2:30 a.m. and on weekends as shown in the schedule. The following are ways in which WSMC is serving its community: 1. The Production Department — As one of the two media forums on campus, the production staff of WSMC is ready to help any organization bring information to the college community. Sincerely — Robin Bates English FELLOWSHIPS OFFERED These fellowships (formerly referred to only as ORG - Other Race Grants) have been renamed the Matthias D’Sousa Fellowships in honor of Matthias D’Sousa, a free black who arrived on the Ark and Dove in 1634, and who subsequently served in the Maryland Legislature. Up until this time no attempt has been made to oversee this program, evaluate the progress of its recipients, or encourage their achievement. Harmon Haymes has asked me to coordinate this effort. If you know minority students of high academic achievement who might apply to St. Mary’s, please alert them to this Fellowship program. Likewise, if you know students who are currently enrolled at the college who might qualify, have them contact the Admissions Office. — Dana Greene History Roberts Replies to Accusations From the Editor: To Mr. Wim Cassard. After talking with Jerry Valentine I found out that, indeed, the I.M. coordinators had something to do with the changing of the mugs to tee-shirts for the football champions. As for the name-cdling or implications . . . really now, come now junior. As for remembering about the game within a few weeks, well, mighty wizard, I can remember who won back in 1978. It was Harry’s J ’s. As for the mug or mugs you are offering to buy, I would like a black one with Otis written on it. — C. Presently we have twenty-one students who are fellowship recipients. THE EMPATH THE EMPATH is published by the students of St. Mary's College of Md.
